🌊 Digital Ocean joined Unicodemy in La Paz and helped girls set up their first virtual machines, an unprecedented feat by kids 🤖🦄

When Codi met Sammy, she was on cloud nine 🌈 We are incredibly grateful that our DO Impact Program partners from Digital Ocean flew out of New York, Denver, Washington DC, and London to meet with us in La Paz, Bolivia 🇧🇴.

A huge shoutout to Ivan, Polina, Rachel, and Adam for spending 4 amazing days with us at an altitude of 3.6 km ⛰ and hosting a 4.5-hour bootcamp for 24 10–15-year-old girls 👧🏻

Our workshop took the girls on Codi’s new adventure under sea 🌊 She visited Sammy (the Digital Ocean 🦈 mascot) and learned about cloud computing. In the end, we’re proud to see 100% of the girls set up their own virtual machines. It’s an unprecedented feat carried out by kids! Great job, Digital Ocean x Unicodemy! Looking forward to more cloud-nine moments together 🥳
