    Food waste impacts everyone, every day. Teaching kids about food waste is vital for instilling environmental consciousness, global awareness, and financial responsibility. By learning about wasted resources on the planet, kids can foster sustainable habits and change their communities for the better.

    Eligibility

    Food Waste 101 is for any kids between 10–12 years old in Canada. They do not need any prior coding experience. While the workshop is valued at $399 per student, Latincouver is subsidizing 100% of the fees so you can join for free!
